We are so grateful for all those who made our Holiday Season wonderful. From the Parishes who collected towel sets for our regular lunch program participants, those who provided much needed items for our Christmas Meal, individuals and church groups who collected toys for our Children’s Toy Store and even John who played Santa for us during our gift give a-way, a big and hearty Thank You.
I would like to highlight two organizations: Alyssa’s Angels and Dreams from Drake which collected and donated funds to secure enough toys for the 153 children we served. Both organizations were founded after the loss of children from these two families.
They have turned their sorrow into joy for all children in need. My heart is so touched by each of them as they give to our children from the love of theirs. What a beautiful witness of God’s love, forgiveness and triumph especially during the Christmas Season. We are so blessed to be a recipient organization of their good works. Thank you and God Bless Alyssa and Drake especially.
So, on to the New Year. We deeply appreciate 2013 and all the help we received along the way. Please keep us in your prayers as we courageously face the new challanges of 2014 with faith and trust.
