Much To Be Thankful For

What an amazing Thanksgiving we had this year, with much help from many wonderful volunteers. We served 122 guests and our “waiter’s and waitresses” were very busy keeping everyone well fed. Our dinner was of course; a generous helping of turkey, mashed potato’s, butternut squash, dressing and lots of gravy. Fresh garden salad, relish tray, cheese and crackers and rolls with butter were on the tables to get the guests started while the servers filled their plates. Dessert was a wonderful choice of; Sweet Potato Pie  (donated by the Parker Family), Pumpkin Pie or Apple Pie.  We also had the great fortune to have Dennis Repino, a classical guitarist provide us with background music during the meal. What a treat for all who were there. It was beautiful. A special thanks to Tom and Wendy Scheg for their generous donations of all the last minute items we needed and the running around they did to get them to us in time. You were angels  and we are very grateful for all your work!! Thanks to Foodlink for their Holiday Help and also for the private donators who delivered turkeys and “extra’s” which made our dinner so special.
